面试官：Dr Petros Vourvach

Petros joined Loughborough University’s School of Business and Economics as a Lecturer in Financial Accounting in 2015. He previously held full-time academic appointments at the Universities of Exeter and Kingston in the UK. Before becoming an academic, Petros worked as an accountant in both the public and the private sectors and as an adjunct researcher for Eurostat in Greece.

Petros’s research is in the areas of social, environmental, and governance reporting. He is particularly interested in the reporting and measurement aspects: on ‘why’ and ‘how’ organisations communicate social and environmental information, ‘what’ factors influence this, predominantly, voluntary practice and ‘how’ can this information be evaluated and ultimately be embedded into the existing statutory financial reporting templates.

Petros has taught a wide range of under-graduate and post-graduate modules and has supervised dissertations of, and provided pastoral support to, numerous students at all levels. He specialises in teaching financial accounting & reporting; and governance & accountability courses. Petros has also built an expertise in developing and delivering courses to non-specialists (i.e. he has taught accounting and finance to management students; and management to accounting and finance students). He is the recipient of a number of teaching awards at the discipline, school and university levels, in the areas of feedback provision, student support and dissertation supervision.
