一、院校简介

新南威尔士大学，澳大利亚一所世界顶尖级研究学府，澳大利亚名校联盟“八大名校”之一，简称UNSW，创立于1949年，其主校区位于新南威尔士州首府悉尼。

新南威尔士大学是三个国际著名的研究型大学联盟组织环太平洋大学联盟(APRU)、全球科技大学联盟(GlobalTech)、Universitas 21的成员大学之一。

UNSW是澳大利亚录取分数最高的大学之一。多年连续被“亚洲周刊”评为亚太地区前十位的大学。该校也是南半球唯一一所与北美常春藤盟校宾夕法尼亚大学建立了合作关系的院校。

三、地理位置

新南威尔士大学主校区位于新南威尔士州首府悉尼，占地38公顷，位于澳大利亚最大城市悉尼以东6公里，紧靠悉尼中央商务区和Maroubra海滨，使学校拥有一个很好的地理位置，坐公共汽车到市中心只需20分钟，而到悉尼的一些著名公园和海滩只需几分钟时间。

除了美术设计和应用美术及教学课程在Paddington校区上课，运动及休闲研究课程在St.George校区上课，其余专业都位于Kensington主校区。
